The feedback signal representing the actual state is compared with the command signal to obtain an error signal. If the error is not zero, it is adjusted.
The hydraulic servo system should generally include: actual state measurement feedback components; low-power command signal transmission components and high-power hydraulic actuator components; desired state and feedback state comparison components; difference signal amplification components. The hydraulic servo system is divided into mechanical hydraulic servo system, electro-hydraulic servo system and gas-hydraulic servo system. Their command signals are mechanical signals, electrical signals and air pressure signals. The electro-hydraulic servo system is widely used because of its flexible electrical control; the gas-liquid servo system is used in explosion-proof environments or occasions where it is easy to obtain air pressure signals. The hydraulic servo system should have the necessary performance: stable work; quick response to command signals; small steady-state error; insensitive to interference. The hydraulic servo system is the most widely used one in the automatic control system. In the precision machining positioning system, the hydraulic servo system can guarantee machining errors less than 0.1 micron.
