The actuators usually control mechanical quantities such as position and speed. The command signal component is also called the reference signal component, which sends out command signals representing position, speed or other quantities. The feedback signal representing the actual state is compared with the command signal to obtain an error signal. If the error is not zero, it is adjusted.
