Classification of Block Forming Machines by Product Type

Depending on the final product, block forming machines can be classified into the following main types:

Hollow block forming machines – Produce blocks with cavities, which are lightweight and offer good thermal insulation. The cavities can be filled with insulating materials such as sawdust or foam. Suitable for non‑load‑bearing walls and infill walls.

Solid block forming machines – Produce fully dense, cavity‑free blocks with high density and high compressive strength. Suitable for load‑bearing walls, foundations, and heavy‑duty structures.

Interlocking block forming machines – Produce blocks with male‑female connecting structures that can be assembled like puzzle pieces without mortar. Suitable for retaining walls and landscape engineering.
