UNT Series Servo Energy‑Saving System – Responding to Rising Electricity Tariffs
Nersa has approved a 12.74% electricity tariff increase for the 2025/26 fiscal year, 5.36% for 2026/27, and 6.19% for 2027/28. Eskom Megaflex customers will also face two new charges: a generation fee based on notified maximum demand, and a legacy charge penalising high‑energy‑consumption usage patterns.
